Mary Mac's Place Plates Donation Drive
Mary Mac's Place rely entirely on donations in order to serve over 500 two-course meals per week, to those in our community experiencing food insecurity or homelessness.
Without the generous support of the local community, this service could not exist.
From 12 - 24 August purchase a $2 or $5 plate and stick your plate to the display board in centre to show your support.
Deepwater Plaza will match every plate purchased to the value of $2,500!
All funds raised will assist Mary Mac's to purchase fresh food to continue to provide meals to those that need it the most.
Throughout August you can also donate non-perishable food items, toiletries and more.
Visit the donation hub opposite Coles.
Terry and Sue
Terry and Sue arrived at Mary Mac’s one morning with all their belongings soaking wet after sleeping rough one rainy night. Mary Mac’s assisted with washing and drying their things, provided a hot meal and connection to a specialist housing service. Terry and Sue are now safely housed and remain members of the Mary Mac’s community today.
