Deepwater Plaza creates ‘BIG Change for Small Change’ in an Australian first charity event.
On Thursday 21 September 2017, Deepwater Plaza hosted a community event that aimed to give back to the local community and make a difference to the lives of children by supporting the important work of the Central Coast Children's Fund - supporting paediatric services across Gosford and Wyong Hospitals.
In what’s believed to be a first for an Australian property group, Deepwater Plaza is one of up to ten Dexus managed shopping centres nationally that charged a gold coin donation upon entry to the centre on this day. Funds raised will directly support children’s health care in each local area.
We are proud to announce the final donation tally of $5,515. Thank you so much for making a difference as a local community.
Supporting families with young children is central to Deepwater Plaza. We see this as an important way to give back and make a difference in our local community.” says Deepwater Plaza Centre Manager Deborah McKilligan.
